Email atwjamie@gmail.com with the name you want. We will confirm it is still available, explain the transfer, and send an invoice. If the price is close but not right, make an offer — we would rather hear from you than not.
Questions
How does the transfer work?
Once payment clears we lodge the transfer with the registrar and send you the auth code. Most .au transfers complete within a few days. You take over the licence in your own name and renew it yourself from then on.
What does the price include?
The domain licence transfer, and nothing else. There is no website, content or email attached to any of these names. Ongoing renewal is yours from the transfer date — currently around $12 a year at most registrars.
Why are some marked “available from”?
A recently acquired .au domain cannot be transferred for 60 days under auDA rules. Those names are available to buy now, with transfer completing once the lock lifts on the date shown. We will say so plainly before taking any payment.
Am I eligible to hold a .com.au?
You need an Australian presence — an ABN, ACN or Australian trade mark — and the name has to relate to what you do. For a descriptive name like these, operating in the field it describes is normally the connection. Worth confirming with your registrar before you buy.
Will you take an offer?
Yes. The prices are what we think the names are worth, not an auction floor. If one is close but not right, say so and make an offer.
Do you have a name that isn't listed?
Possibly. We hold other .au names that are not on this page, mostly because they are brandable rather than descriptive. Tell us what you are after.
Why these names
A descriptive domain tells a customer what you do before they have read a word of your website, and it does the same thing on a van, an invoice or a business card. It will not win you rankings on its own — Google stopped rewarding exact-match domains a decade ago — but it is clear, it is memorable, and there is only one of each.
Every name on this page is a plain description of an activity. None of them is anybody's brand, trading name or trade mark, which is deliberate: it means you can use one without inheriting an argument.
